(Scroll down for video) A teen is behind bars after stabbing her boyfriend in the chest after having an argument about Facebook, according to police reports in Texas.
San Antonio Police said that the teen stabbed her boyfriend to death on Monday.
Adrian Sosa, 17, lived at 110 Samoth with his girlfriend, Maria Magdalena Duenas, 18.
Duenas told another person, who was sleeping in the house, that she stabbed Sosa about 5:45 a.m., because he was choking and hitting her.
Duenas also told the witness that she stabbed him with a knife, but police were unable to find it.
The couple had been using drugs overnight. Duenas admitted to her mother that she stabbed Sosa during an argument. The mother of Duenas told police that her daughter and Sosa had a violent relationship.
Duenas denied stabbing Sosa in an interview with the detectives.
Duenas told police that she and Sosa had a discussion about Facebook, but it was over. Duenas said Sosa then went to the bathroom, came out covered in blood and went to bed. Duenas said she applied pressure to Sosa’s chest, while another person called rescue workers.
Sosa was transported to a local hospital where he died.
She was arrested on Monday and booked into the Bexar County Jail with bail set at $250,000.
