(Scroll down for video) New vending machines are popping up in which expensive Champagnes are being sold, according to video uploaded to the Internet.
Now, you can pop the champagne directly from a vending machine after the Selfridges department store on Oxford Street, installed the world's first and probably the most elegant dispenser in the United Kingdom.
The next time you toast to a special occasion you may be drinking sparkling wine bought from a machine instead of the store shelf.
Selfridges installed the special device in conjunction with Moet & Chandon, to allow people easy access to fancy drinks while they are doing their store shopping.
You will not be able to pay for the champagne by traditional means, as the machines only accept tokens.
"This year, Selfridges is taking shopping to a whole new level, transforming the entire fourth floor into a unique destination for gifts. This includes the installation of the world’s first champagne vending machine,” Dawn Davies of Selfridges said.
There is no need to worry about the bottles breaking while being dispensed, as the machine uses a special robotic arm that transfers the champagne safely.
