A gang posing as fake police officers stole a BMW and $2 million in cash, according to police reports in Russia.
Moscow Police said a group of car thieves allegedly dressed as traffic police and stole a BMW containing cash of approximately $2 million.
The Interior Ministry in Moscow, said that an unspecified number of suspects were dressed in traffic police uniforms and traveled in an Audi about 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, when they stopped a BMW and forced the owner to leave at gunpoint.
The suspects left the scene with the two vehicles.
Police said that the man who reported the car stolen, later told police that the vehicle had $2 million in cash hidden inside. Investigators did not disclose why the man hid $2 million in his vehicle.
