(Scroll down for video) A woman was dragged to death with a car, according to police reports in Massachusetts.
Norfolk Police said that they arrested Moses Acloque for dragging the woman for more than three miles.
The woman was dragged from Wrentham to Foxboro.
Two men were detained for questioning. One of them, 22-year-old Acloque, of Norwood, was arrested.
Acloque pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Tuesday.
Acloque said that three men beat him, making him leave a motel he was staying at. Acloque said he did realize that he hit anyone, and he is sick about what happened.
He is accused of leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death.
A judge ordered Acloque held on $3,000 bail. He was ordered to wear a GPS monitoring bracelet. Acloque has no criminal record.
The incident began at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, at the Arbor Inn Motel on Route 1 in Wrentham.
Police investigators said that they had a dispute over a bill and two men left in a van, which hit a motel employee and his wife, 58-year-old Kanchanben Patel. The husband was seriously injured while the woman died.
Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said Patel was dragged for 3.2 miles before state police stopped the van outside Chickie Flynn's restaurant in Foxboro, south of Patriot Place.
Patel was a housekeeper at the motel and recently became an U.S. citizen.
