Two black teens attacked another Jewish boy in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York, according to police reports.

The assault on the child occurred on Monday morning as the boy was walking to school. The suspects have not been arrested.

The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m. on Brooklyn Avenue between Lefferts and East New York Avenues, next to the Beit Rivka school building.

The victim, an 11-year-old boy, was walking to school when he was approached by two black teenagers, one of whom slammed her purse into the child’s face.

Paramedics and police were called to the scene. The child was treated by Hatzolah of Brooklyn volunteers at the scene.

Police officers took the child in a patrol car in order to canvass the area in search for the attackers.

A police report was filed, and the incident is being treated as a possible hate crime.

The attackers were described as African-American girls between 13 and 16-years-old. One of them had black hair with red streaks and bangs.
