Passengers were surprised to see a cat boarding a train to London, England, on its own.
The rush hour passengers saw the ginger cat hopping aboard an underground train headed to the center of London.
The furry passenger, called Oyster, made itself comfortable on a seat on the Victoria line at the Seven Sisters station last Friday.
Fortunately, a volunteer from the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home boarded the same train, and managed to get the cat into an empty cat carrier she had with her.
"I could not believe my eyes when I saw Oyster sitting in a seat on the train, and at first, I thought it was a teddy bear,” Paige Jokovic said.
"Everybody was looking at it as if they had never seen a cat before. Fortunately, I had an empty cat carrier with me as I had dropped of my own cat at the vet the day before. I escorted the cat to Battersea,” Jokovic also said.
Battersea currently has about 150 cats in its three centers in search of new homes.
