(Scroll down for video) A music video was recently released that shows yarmulkes as sexy, according to a video uploaded to YouTube.
The new music video was released by a band based in New York and Pennsylvania. The band calls itself Potpourri of Pearls.
The video shows two ultra-Orthodox Jewish yeshiva students as we have never seen before, at least not in public.
The video shows two gay Jews dressed in standard black pants, white shirts and black kippahs, kissing.
According to band member Adam Brody, 30, the song "Island", is about isolation and connection. To illustrate his theme, the video features two ultra-Orthodox Jewish characters, who meet by chance along a dirt road, and show a sexual interest in each other. Then, they have fun making through the trees and wildflowers.
Brody himself is gay and Jewish, but not Orthodox Jewish.
The young men in the video are not really yeshiva students, but are art students in Baltimore, Maryland.
