A man was arrested and will be charged with drunk driving related charges after he was allegedly caught having sex with his fiance in the back seat of his car on Highway 1, according to police reports in Israel.
Israel Traffic Police said they arrested a 21-year-old man, who had sex with his fiance in his car on a ramp on Highway 1 on Wednesday morning.
As police officers approached the vehicle, the couple tried to flee from the scene, but police caught up with the car after a few minutes.
Police officers Yossi Jaropi and Ivan Glick, noticed the car parked on the side of the road, and went to investigate. When they turned on their flashlights they were shocked to see a naked couple having sex in the back seat.
The man, who became frightened by the officers, quickly jumped into the driver's seat and tried to flee from the scene.
After a brief chase, the officers managed to catch up with him. The police officers allowed the two to get dressed before arresting the driver.
The police officers suspected that the driver was drunk, and a blood test showed that the man’s blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit.
The couple got engaged recently, police said.
The driver said that he has not done anything wrong.
Police revoked his driver’s license and impounded the vehicle. The man was released on bail.
