Two Chabad Lubavitch rabbis were arrested after intimidating parents of child sexual abuse victims in order to convince them not to report the crimes to police.
The two leaders of Chabad in Paris, France, were arrested on suspicion of coercing parents of children, who were sexually abused at a Chabad school there.
The two rabbis, who are not named, warned the parents and staff not to call the police and report the abuse.
The school principal and the chief rabbi of the community were arrested on July 31.
Both suspects were later released on bail pending the completion of their trial.
