Woman hits thief |
(Scroll down for video) Two women defended themselves from a thief by grabbing him and hitting him.
A man, on a bicycle, tried to rob two women at an ATM before telling their mother to teach them manners.
The man was seen on surveillance camera approaching the two women at an ATM before lunging to grab their money.
The women responded by fighting him. They even threw him off his bike. When the women, who are sisters, ages 25, and 27, realized that the man was trying rob them, one woman punched him in the face. The same woman then grabbed him by the neck with both arms and put him in a headlock.
After freeing himself from her grip, the women walked away. As they left, the man spat at them in retaliation. The sisters promptly turned around and pulled him off his bike.
The women went down the street to meet their mother. The would-be thief then cycled towards the women and their mother.
When he came close to their mother, the would-be thief told the mother, “If I was going to rob them I would have taken the money." He then proceeded to lecture her the about teaching her kids some manners. "Your children need to learn some manners,” he said.
The incident took place on Central Road in London, England, about 7:15 pm.
Police are looking for the suspect, who is described as white, and about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He wore a blue and white knitted alpine hat with strings hanging from the sides.
