A victim, who had been sexually exploited by her own father, filed a lawsuit against her father in order to receive compensation for her abuse, according to a lawsuit filed in court.
The Russian victim of child pornography is also suing the men who exploited her, using a law that bears her name.
Masha Allen, who was adopted 15 years ago by a millionaire businessman Matthew Mancuso of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, took and distributed her pornographic images on the Internet.
Some of the photos were taken at a hotel near Disney World.
Allen was rescued in 2003 when she was 10-years-old, while Mancuso and thirteen other men, who were sentenced for possession of her photos, were imprisoned.
After her story was made public, Congress passed a law that allows victims of child pornography to sue their attackers. The law was named "Masha's Law."
With this law, 20-year-old Allen filed a lawsuit against the men on Friday in Philadelphia. She hopes to recover at least $150,000 from each defendant. Some defendants were doctors and have significant financial assets.
