4 arrested after beating and robbing illegal immigrants in Tel Aviv

Four people were arrested and charged with assault and robbery related charges after allegedly targeting illegal immigrants, according to police reports in Israel.

Tel Aviv Police said that the four suspects were arrested on Monday, on suspicion of involvement in robberies and other attacks against foreigners living in southern Tel Aviv, which has a high concentration of illegal immigrants, including illegal infiltrators.

The investigation was carried out by a special police unit that focuses on the area of the old central bus station and the Tikva and Shapira neighborhoods.

This is not the first time that an illegal immigrant was attacked in Tel Aviv. As we reported earlier, a black man was stabbed to death in Tel Aviv by a foreign national, according to a statement released by Israeli police in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The victim, a citizen of Eritrea, was stabbed to death in the neighborhood of Neve Sha'anan in Tel Aviv during a fight with another foreigner.

According to police, the fatal encounter occurred around 11:00 pm on Friday, when the two met in Neve Sha'anan.
For unknown reasons, an argument broke out, during which the Eritrean said he was sick.

The argument deteriorated rapidly and became violent, the second man pulled a knife and began stabbing the victim repeatedly in the abdomen. Bleeding, the victim was only able to take a few steps back before he collapsed and died.

An eyewitness, who saw the attacker alerted police. Police came to the scene quickly and were able to apprehend the attacker. A knife was found in the possession of the suspect.

The victim was evacuated to Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, but doctors could not save him and were only left to declare him dead.

The suspect was jailed by the Tel Aviv District court on Saturday night, pending the completion of the police investigation.
