| Rescuers saving stranded dolphin |
(Scroll down for video) Lifeboats are normally used to save people, but this time they were called to help a stranded dolphin.
A lifeboat team was called to help rescue a dolphin, which became stuck on sand.
The dolphin was spotted on the River Dee in Flintshire in the United Kingdom.
The dolphin is believed to have taken a wrong turn while swimming upstream from Saltney Ferry towards the Chester river.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution lifeboats were called to help the dolphin. "It was in shallow water and it was trying to find a deep water channel," a spokesperson for the Liverpool coastguard said.
RNLI Lifeboat Operations Manager Alan Forrester said: "We had a representative from the British Divers Marine Life Rescue on board, who was monitoring the dolphin. The team of volunteers put the dolphin on a stretcher and then into the lifeboat.
It was transported to the deep-sea where it was released.
