(Scroll down for video) Northern Israeli residents are reporting that emergency sirens sounded, and as much as four rockets exploded in two Israeli cities.
Two of the four rockets fired from southern Lebanon landed in Israel Thursday, Lebanese security officials said.
No injuries have been reported.
The Lebanese officials said that two pairs of missiles aimed at Israel were fired from the Batoulieh valley near the Palestinian refugee camp of Rashidieh, southeast of Tyre in Lebanon.
A couple of rockets exploded near the border with Israel, while the others fell in the border town of Alma in Lebanon, Lebanese official said.
Israeli officials said that residents heard the sound of explosions in the Israeli cities of Nahariya and Acre.
The Israeli military said that the missile defense system, Iron Dome, shot down at least one of the rockets. Israeli military officials are currently looking to locate the rockets on the ground.
