Three men were arrested and will be charged with rape related charges after they had ongoing relationships with 3 minor girls, according to police reports in Israel.
Samaria Police said that three men, all 20-years-old, were arrested last night. They are being accused of rape and unlawful sexual activity. The victims were identified as three girls aged 11, 14, and 16, all residents of settlements in the Jordan Valley. The suspects were brought before the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court for a bail hearing.
Police said that the three men were living in the same community as the three girls. “All three men had sex with the girls on an ongoing basis,” a police officer said. “The girls did not consent to the sexual activity,” the officer also said. The suspects claim that the relationships were consensual and even initiated by the girls. The girls’ family is known to the police and welfare authorities. Police are still investigating the case.
Police asked the court to remand the suspects for seven days in order to allow the police to complete their investigation.
