2 Arabs stab Jewish man in Jerusalem’s Kiryat Yovel neighborhood

Police are looking to arrest two Arab men after they stabbed a Jewish man in the Kiryat Yovel neighborhood of Jerusalem, Israel, according to police reports.

Jerusalem Police said that the incident occurred on Shteren Street. A 25-year-old Jewish man was stabbed in the head and hands, police said.

The two Arab men were seen fleeing from the scene.
Emergency workers of the Magen David Adom and Ichud Hatzalah, arrived at the scene. The paramedics treated the victim at the scene, and he was transported by a Magen David Adom ambulance to the trauma center at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. He condition was listed as moderate.

Police said that the motive behind the attack is still unknown. The police are searching for the two suspects.
“We received a call about a stabbing incident on Shteren Street in Jerusalem, within minutes, we arrived at the scene with a mobile intensive care unit. The victim had several stab wounds on the upper body and was in light to moderate condition. The man was very upset," Shmulik Alfasi of Magen David Adom said.

"The victim was conscious when I arrived. I gave him first aid until other paramedics and an ambulance arrived. He was then transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital located nearby. A large police force also arrived at the scene,” Moti Hecht of Ichud Hatzalah, who was first on the scene, said.

Rachel Goldblatt, a spokesperson for Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, said the victim is currently being treated after suffering from several stab wounds.
