A man blamed his wife for raping his underage daughter, according to court proceedings in Israel.
Tel Aviv Police said that a man was arrested and charged with child rape related charges after repeatedly raping his own underage daughter.
Now, the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court has extended the detention of the 49-year-old Elad man for three additional days. The man was arrested for allegedly committing indecent acts on his 9-year-old daughter.
During police questioning, the man admitted to the allegations. He provided police with a bizarre justification for his actions. He told police that his wife refused to have sex with him and as a result could not control his impulses. "She left a man reach his limit," the man said in his defense.
This is not the first Israeli man to be arrested in a bizarre sex crime case. As we reported earlier, an Israeli man was arrested and charged after he raped his sister for the past 6 years, according to police reports in Sharon, Israel.
The police said today that the man arrested for raping his sister admitted to incest, but denied the rape allegations, saying that his sister wanted the sexual relationship. Apparently, the sexual acts were performed while the two were alone in their house. After questioning, the suspect was brought before a court in central Israel.
Police also identified the suspect as a 20-year-old man this morning, living in an apartment in Sharon, Israel. He is accused of raping his sister for the past six years. Police have identified the victim as a girl under the age of 18. During the interrogation he admitted to the sexual relationship but denied that it was rape.
An initial investigation found that the victim was between 6 and 12-years-old at the time of the alleged sexual abuse. It was also reported that the parents of the two are divorced and according to the initial investigation were unaware of the sexual abuse because apparently the acts usually occurred while the two were alone in the house.
