(Scroll down for video) A man went wild when he caught his father having sex with his wife inside his home.
Timothy John Brewer, 33, of Utah, was arrested on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and domestic violence, among other charges.
Brewer beat his father in a fit of rage after he walked in on his father having sex with his wife, Logan Rae, in his youngest son’s bedroom.
Brewer was employed as a Deputy Sheriff in Utah. He was furious at the betrayal by his wife and father, as they slept together.
He allegedly slapped his wife and then pointed a loaded gun at her head. Then, he reportedly pistol-whipped and beat his father, who is a respected fire chief and a police officer in Moab, Utah.
His terrified wife fled to her parents' house, while his father, Wesley 'Corky' Brewer, went home to "get his gun."
However, when the father tried to take his gun, his wife, Cindy Brewer, hid the gun. Corky then grabbed a butcher knife and stabbed himself twice, puncturing a lung and slicing his liver. He was rushed to Moab Regional Hospital. He had to be flown to a Colorado hospital for surgery. He is since said to be in stable condition.
Brewer was initially arrested and charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, assault on a police officer and intoxication.
However, because of their ties with law enforcement in Grand County, the investigation was passed onto the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, which reduced the charges to two class A misdemeanor assaults and assault against a police officer.
Brewer was released on bail. He gave up his job as a deputy. He faces two years in prison if convicted.
