(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested and charged with two murder related charges after he bragged about the killings in a song, according to police reports in Virginia.

Newport News Police said that they have solved a double homicide cold case with the help of a local rapper, who allegedly boasted of the murders in the lyrics of one of his songs.

Antwain Steward, also known as Twain Gotti, was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of two murders. Newport News police said the rapper’s own lyrics led to his arrest. In his song "Ride Out", he raps:

"Listen, walk to your boy and I approached him, 12 midnight on his trap house porch and everybody saw when I f***in choked him. But nobody saw when I f***in smoked him, roped him, sharpened up the shank then I poked him, 357 Smith & Wesson scoped him."

Police have charged Steward with the murder of 16-year-old Christopher Horton and 20-year-old Brian Dean, who were shot dead in May 2007 in a gang-related incident on the front porch of the house of Dean in Newport News. According to court documents, investigators believe that Steward and Horton had an argument earlier in the day. Steward is believed to have been a member of the street gang Wickzoo at the time of Horton's death. The victim apparently belonged to Dump Squad, a rival gang.

Steward refutes the charges against him. On Tuesday, tweeted: "Don’t believe the BS". Later that day, he wrote, "S/O to everyone, who is supporting me through the BS. Innocent is a fact! Everyone knows with love comes hate!"
Steward was arrested in 2011 in connection with a drive-by shooting in the neighboring city of Hampton.

After his latest arrest, Steward was charged with two counts of felony murder, one count of illegal discharge of a firearm and two counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is being held without bail in jail in the city of Newport News.
