The dog did not return a favor for a favor.
A Trumann, Arkansas man awoke Monday morning to find his dog eating one of his testicles.
The man, who has not been identified, is paralyzed and told police he has "no feeling from the waist down."
Around 7:45 am on Monday he was awakened by a "burning" sensation in his midsection, according to the initial police report.
The 39-year-old told police he sleeps in the nude and realized that the dog was between his legs.
He also noticed that the "white, fluffy, small dog" had blood on its muzzle and paws.
When he looked even more, according to the report, he realized that "the dog ate one of his testicles."
The victim said the dog was a stray that he had taken into his home three weeks earlier. The man was not sure if the dog has been vaccinated.
The police took the dog to a local vet where it was killed. Its head was sent to the Health Department to be tested for rabies.
The victim was taken to Regional Medical Center of San Bernardo, where he was treated for his injuries.
