(Scroll down for video) A man stabbed his girlfriend to death and then tried to commit suicide by stabbing himself in Tel Aviv, Israel, according to police reports.
Magen David Adom officials said that a woman, 20, was found dead with signs of violence on her body. She was found in an apartment located on Shtulim Street. She was allegedly stabbed by her partner, who also tried to end his own life.
Magen David Adom paramedics, who were called to the scene, found the two African nationals in serious condition. They performed CPR on the woman, who suffered from multiple stab wounds on her chest. After an hour, paramedics declared her dead. Her partner, also 20, was taken to Ichilov Hospital in serious condition.
"We found two people, who were in critical condition after suffering from stab wounds," Ran Kalman, a Magen David Adom paramedic on the scene, said. "After confirming the woman's death, an intensive care ambulance transported the man, who also stabbed in the chest. to the hospital," Kalman said.
Meanwhile, police began to investigate the circumstances of the crime. According to the initial findings, a conflict between the couple led to the violent attack. The brother of the suspect is being questioned by police investigators, who are trying to figure out if the couple had previous domestic violence issues.
