Police are looking to arrest a man, who allegedly spat at a young girl because she was dressed immodestly, according to a report by Yedioth Ahronoth.

The girl, 15, was walking home on an Ashdod street yesterday after picking up her little sister from day care.
A radicalized ultra-Orthodox Jewish man approached her and ordered her to walk behind a wall so that yeshiva students should not see her dressed immodestly.

The girl refused the requests of the man.
"I will not do it," she told him.
The man allegedly responded by asking: "Why are you so stubborn?" Then, the man spit on her before he fled from the scene.

"The day care and the yeshiva are located on the same street in a secular neighborhood of the city. I've been walking to the day care for a year now, without a single incident. No one ever told me anything. It never crossed my mind that there is something or someone to fear, because the secular residents of the city respect the ultra-Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods by not driving on Shabbat and only walking through their streets in modest clothing. This behavior is unacceptable," the girl's mother said.

The 15-year-old was shaken by the incident, but she vowed to remain defiant.
"I'll keep walking in my neighborhood the way I want. I am not afraid. I wanted to get home quickly because my sister was with me, and I did not want anything to happen to her. Even when I returned to the place to meet my mom and the police I was wearing the same clothes. I dare them to tell me what to do," the 15-year-old said.

Ashdod Police said that they are treating the incident very seriously.
