A man was arrested and charged with murder after he killed a toddler during a fight with the child’s mother.
The two-year-old has died after she was thrown to the ground by the man during a dispute over a parking space in Beijing, China.
The man, identified only by his surname Han, wanted to park his car, but the child's mother, who was standing there, would not move out of his way because she was busy caring for her daughter at the time.
Han got out of his car and allegedly struck the woman before taking the girl from her stroller. The man then threw her to the ground, according to witnesses.
"The baby made no noise after being dropped, she did not even cry of pain," the witness said.
Han was released from prison this year after serving a sentence for robbery.
Han was arrested on assault charges, which was later upgraded to murder, after the toddler died at the hospital.
Han could face the death penalty if convicted of murder.
