(Scroll down for video) Police have warned men to be on the lookout as a group of women are picking up men at bars, drugging them, and stealing their valuables, according to police reports in Florida.
The South Florida authorities are asking the public's help to find the group of women who are responsible for drugging men they pick up in high-end bars and then flee with tens of thousands of dollars in cash, jewelry, guns and other valuables.
The Sheriff's Office of Broward County published photographs of the four suspects, all in their 20s, and have managed to obtain arrest warrants against them.
Investigators suspect there may be more women involved in the ring.
"The sexy women are going to bars to execute their scam, and unfortunately, it works over and over again," Dani Moschella, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office, said.
Their scam works like this: She goes to an exclusive bar, flirts with a man of middle age or older wearing expensive jewelry, returns home, slips a drug into his drink, steals and leaves before he wakes up.
This is what Subhanna Beyah, 25, Johnnina Miller, 25, Keshia Clark, 27 and Ryan Elkins, 23, allegedly have been doing for the last few months in upscale bars in South Florida.
Hours after authorities released the images of the suspects to the media on Thursday, Keshia Clark turned herself in to the Miami-Dade Police, the Sheriff's Office of Broward County, said.
Researchers have identified four of the victims, Moschella said, adding that they believe that other victims "will not come forward because they are ashamed."
The women, who allegedly used false names, are each being charged with one count of grand theft. The Broward County authorities are eager to get these women jailed. The sheriff's office has teamed up with Crime Stoppers to offer a reward of $1,000 for anonymous tips leading to an arrest.
"We really want to take these women off the street because they are drugging their victims," Moschella said. "We do not know how long it will be before they end up killing someone," she added.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
