A Jerusalem boy is lucky to be alive after falling from the roof of his school in Jerusalem, according to emergency workers in Jerusalem, Israel. Police said that this is the sixth such incident in the past two weeks.
The latest incident occurred on Mirsky Street in Jerusalem. The boy, 7, fell from the roof of the religious school building and was seriously injured.
Paramedics of United Hatzalah were called and they responded to the scene.
Chazi Roth, a volunteer paramedic of United Hatzalah, said: "United Hatzalah received a call about a young child, who fell from the roof of his school. When I arrived at the scene, I saw the child was seriously wounded. Our team of emergency workers provided the injured child with emergency first aid, and then transported the child with a mobile intensive care unit for further treatment to a hospital."
The United Hatzalah Organization, is calling on parents and educators to keep watch over their children. Unfortunately, at least six children fell over the past two weeks in Jerusalem.
A boy, 7, of Yechezkel Street fell out from a window of his home and was seriously wounded.
A boy, 5, of Techelet Mordechai Street fell from the fourth floor balcony of his home and was seriously wounded.
A young child fell from the window of his home on Harry Truman Street and was seriously wounded.
