(Scroll down for video) Numerous families have suffered major damage to their apartments after a falling construction crane tore up an apartment building, according to video uploaded to the internet.
As you can see in the video below, it pays to have a camera ready at the right time. The video shows a construction crane tipping over and damaging an apartment building, as well as several cars in Russia.
Russians are known for uploading all types of interesting dash cam videos, but now it appears that people are mounting cameras on their windows to capture some interesting action going on outside.
This particular accident occurred in Kirov, Russia as a construction crane collapsed and fell.
As it tilted and fell over, the crane destroyed a row of balconies on an apartment building. The crane also destroyed several cars parked below.
250 residents live in the building, but luckily no one was injured in the incident.
“After seeing the video, I am afraid of going anywhere near these giant cranes. Luckily, no one was injured. The company that operated the crane should be severely punished for this as such an accident can be deadly like the collapsing crane that killed a man in New York City, several years ago,” Jo Hansen, 35, of New York City told YourJewishNews.com after being asked to comment on the crane that tore down balconies in Russia.
