(Scroll down for video) An Ohio doctor was arrested and charged with murder and rape related charges after he injected a woman with heroin, raped and killed her, according to court proceedings in Ohio.
Police said that the doctor, Ali Salim, had a few run ins with the law recently.
A woman told police that she was assaulted after visiting the doctor’s home. Another woman said she was sexually assaulted.
A third woman said that Salim insisted that she pose in her underwear while he painted the digestive system on her abdomen. Then, police said the doctor drugged, raped and killed a pregnant woman.
As we reported earlier, The central Ohio doctor was charged Wednesday with rape and two counts of murder in the death of the pregnant woman, whose body was found last summer in her car after she had gone to work as a cleaner at a house.
Ali Salim, of New Albany was indicted by a Delaware County grand jury of nine felony charges in the death of 23-year-old Deanna Ballman and her unborn child.
Ballman, who lived in Pataskala and was nine months pregnant, was reported missing the day before her body was found in a vehicle parked near a highway northeast of Columbus. A coroner determined that she died of acute heroin intoxication.
Relatives said that she had gone to a home in New Albany to clean after an online classified advertisement was placed. Her mother said that Ballman called saying that she was not feeling well and then the call was dropped.
Salim, 44, was charged with two counts each of murder and tampering with evidence, as well as individual accounts of rape, assault, kidnapping, corrupting others with drugs and abuse of a corpse.
Salim was arrested at his home and taken to jail Wednesday pending his arraignment Thursday afternoon, the sheriff and the prosecutor said.
“Instead of helping people as every good doctor, this man abused his position to abuse, rape, and kill women. He should never be a free man again,” Sara Owens, 34, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania told YourJewishNews.com after being asked to comment on Doctor Ali Salim.
Salim was born in Pakistan and trained there at King Edward Medical College, graduating in 1993. He told the State Medical Board of Ohio that his specialties are internal medicine, emergency medicine and psychiatry.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
