A young woman died after a fire broke out overnight inside her apartment house in Lod, Israel, according to press reports in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The 35-year-old woman was killed last night from severe smoke inhalation from a fire in her 3 story residential building located on Arlozoroff Blvd.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene declared the woman dead at the scene. Currently, it is unclear how the fire broke out.
Emergency services were called to the scene early in the morning after a fire broke out on the first floor of the building, located on Arlozoroff. Neighbors said they heard an explosion type sound coming from the inside of the building.
The woman who was killed from smoke inhalation lived on the first floor.
Firefighters eventually extinguished the fire and no additional casualties were reported.
