The runaway bear

(Scroll down for video) California police spent some time trying to capture a lost bear, according to video uploaded to the internet.

The lost bear was eventually captured by officers after running through the Sun Valley and Shadow Hills areas, in the morning.

The black bear that had a label on its right ear, was discovered shortly after 6:00 am near Stonehurst and Clybourne avenues, in Sun Valley.
The animal appeared to be young, according to Andrew Hughan, Department of Fisheries and Wildlife in California.

The bear was seen running through the streets, through yards, scaling fences and climbing walls.
There was a tense moment when the animal ran through a yard, scaring some horses.
The bear walked north about half a mile in Shadow Hills, near the Hansen Dam Recreation Center.

Residents were told to stay inside their homes as patrol units of the Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Division monitored the situation.
A director of the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife of California came and captured the bear around 7:45 am.
They loaded the bear in the back of a van to move it back into the forest.

“It was fascinating to watch the bear running around in the yards especially when the horses chased the bear away from their yard. Thankfully, no one was hurt and hopefully, this time, the bear will stay in the forest where it belongs,” Rose Glover, 19, of Los Angeles, California told YourJewishNews.com after being asked to comment on the runaway bear.

The same bear was captured in Santa Clarita about two weeks ago, Fish and Wildlife officials said.
It was labeled and transported back into the Angeles National Forest, but the animal somehow made its way back, authorities said.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
