(Scroll down for video) Attention guys! Think twice before you fart even in your own apartment because you might get stabbed by your angry girlfriend.
A drunken Florida woman stabbed her boyfriend with a 8 inch knife after he farted in her face during an argument, according to a statement released by police in Florida.
Deborah Ann Burns, 37, allegedly stabbed her lover of six years, Willie Butler, 53, while watching television in their apartment last week.
Burns told police officers that they were fighting for cash when Butler got up to go to the kitchen and farted in her face.
She confronted him and it got ugly, with Butler allegedly throwing a knife at her, which missed.
Burns allegedly grabbed the knife and threw it back at him. The knife hit Butler in the stomach.
She ran off, before returning to hit him with a stick on his left arm.
The police arrived to find a bleeding Butler, who was so drunk he could not give a statement, standing in front of his mailbox.
“We can all agree that Butler did an ugly thing by farting in Burns’ face, but that is no reason to stab a man. She should have just broken off the relationship if she did not like his farting,” Emma Kelly, 38, of Concord, Massachusetts told YourJewishNews.com after learning about the man who was stabbed after farting in his girlfriend’s face.
Burns, who denied stabbing Butler, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
