Two CNN reporters allegedly reporting from two different locations |
(Scroll down for video) An internationally known U.S. news company was caught red handed faking satellite news reporting, according to video uploaded to the internet.
CNN news anchors Ashleigh Banfield and Nancy Grace were caught faking a news reporting scene via satellite.
The reporters said they were talking to each other via satellite from two different locations in Phoenix, Arizona, while covering the Jodi Arias trial. The station was using a split screen to demonstrate that their two reporters were in different locations.
However, in reality, the two were actually reporting from the same parking lot, as the same cars were seen passing by in the background of the two screens.
“I would never believe that CNN would pull off such a forgery, but it is a fact. What were they thinking? Did they really think they can fool the American people? I think that people will not trust their news reporting,” Carla Grifith, 34, of Eugene, Oregon told YourJewishNews.com after watching the video.
"It seems that Grace and Banfield were reporting from the same parking lot, looking in the same direction, and judging by the speed of the vehicles seen passing by on the screens they were not more than 30 feet away from each other," experts in video said.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
