(Scroll down for video) A young actress caused controversy after she proudly admitted to waxing her daughter who is only 3-years-old.
Aspiring model Farrah Abraham of Council Bluffs, Iowa, is the mother of Sophia Laurent Abraham.
The 'Teen Mom' star, who has spent more than $20,000 on plastic surgery on herself, is trying to give the good looks to her 3-year-old daughter, Sofia, by waxing her unibrow, which is the hair between the eyebrows. Abraham appeared in the first season of MTV's Teen Mom show, and had no shame to alter her appearance with surgery in an effort to be beautiful.
Abraham had several plastic surgery procedures done including breast augmentation, nose job and work on her chin. Abraham is giving her daughter an early start to make her look more attractive.
“I believe that the mother is insecure about her looks and she is transferring that insecurities to her daughter. I never heard of a mother telling her child at 3-years-old that she is not perfect just the way she is,” Amy Wilson, 28, of Des Moines, Iowa told YourJewishNews.com after hearing about the Abraham waxing her daughter.
Although most parents ignore a little hair on their three-year-old, Abraham decided she had to take matters into her own hands.
Abraham was unhappy when she realized that her young Sophie had developed a unibrow, so she decided to remove it through waxing.
Sadly, Sophia never knew her father. Derek Underwood was killed in a car accident on December 28, 2008, two months before her birth. After a paternity test established that he was indeed the father, Underwood’s family sued for visitation rights so they can be in the child’s life.
