A man was arrested after he was caught having sex with an elderly woman whom he visited at a nursing home.
Theodore Davidson, 71, of New York, came to visit his acquaintance at the nursing home when a staff member allegedly entered the patient's room during the incident and contacted the police. Davidson is accused of sexually abusing a resident.
Police said a staff member at Orchard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Granville, saw the two having sex.
“Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. I would refrain from jumping to conclusions until we have all facts, as we first have to know the relationship between the two, and if it was consensual or forced. Many elderly people have active sex lives, so you never know,” Edward Turner, 42, of Lake George, New York, told YourJewishNews.com After hearing about the arrest of Davidson.
Davidson was arrested by Granville, New York police and he was charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person and sexual abuse in the second degree.
