(Scroll down for video) An Israeli father beat a man unconscious after breaking into his home and attempting to rape his daughter who is just 8-years-old, according to police reports in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The man who was identified by police as a Sudanese immigrant, broke into the apartment in the Yad Eliyahu neighborhood on the south side of Tel Aviv. The suspect tried to rape an eight-year-old girl who was sleeping in her bedroom and stabbed the mother who came to her rescue, lightly wounding her.
The father attacked the intruder, beating him until he fell unconscious.
The initial investigation revealed that the intruder broke into the home around 5:30 am.
The suspect snatched the woman’s cellphone and then entered the girl's bedroom. The suspect proceeded to jump into the girl’s bed. After the girl began to cry, her mother came into the room, where the intruder stabbed and wounded. At that point, the father, who happened to know martial arts, woke up and started hitting the suspect.
He beat him and used a phone cord to tie him up until police arrived.
Magen David Adom paramedics arrived at the scene. The mother was taken to Edith Wolfson Medical Center in Holon. The suspect was taken to the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv.
