Boy steals father's life savings to buy himself sweets

(Scroll down for video) A man was devastated when he suddenly learned that his entire life savings was gone because his boy had a sweet tooth, according to a statement released by police in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian child has emptied the savings of his parents and spent about $4,000 on candy.

During a week of school break, the 9-year-old from the city of Konotop, took various sums of money from his father’s cash stash kept hidden under a couch in the home.

The child spent his entire loot at the local candy store. The child recruited an adult accomplice to help you convert the cash from U.S. dollars and euros to the local Ukrainian currency.
The man, who had been diagnosed with a mental disorder, would always get a tip for his services.

“The farther must be devastated. I feel his great pain, as he worked hard for years in order to save up some money, and his child just spent it all on candy, but at least, the child had a wonderful time during his school vacation,” Bertie Cash, 39, of Kiev, Ukraine told YourJewishNews.com after learning about the child’s sweet tooth.

Tatyana Kushnerova, a local police spokesperson said: "The disappearance was first discovered by the father, who is a regular worker, after he had returned home, opened the stash and saw it was empty."
When confronted, the boy admitted that he had taken the money to buy sweets for him and his friends.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
